Am trying to think of a fitting tribute to these six heroic journalists who risked everything to keep the truth alive in Gaza, but words fail me. Thanks for naming each of them. I guess the best tribute is to continue opposing the genocide with everything within our power. We have not been asked to sacrifice nearly as much, although our government is complicit. I hope we all pledge to do more, whatever we can, in their names.

I worried for his safety, watching Al Jazeera daily and seeing and hearing his reporting.

I wept reading his testament. He was an exemplar of honor, courage and love for his people and humanity. Allah will surely bless him.

To Anas al-Sharif, his colleagues, and every journalist who dared to report from Gaza:

Thank you. You streamed truth into our living rooms while bombs fell around you. You spoke powerfully, even as the world turned away. You didn’t just document suffering, you bore witness. You didn’t just hold a camera, you held the line between silence and accountability.

Your sacrifice is not just brave, it is sacred. You gave your lives so the world could not say, “We didn’t know.” You stood in the rubble and told the truth, even when it cost you everything.

We, sitting in the safety of our homes, owe you a debt that can never be repaid. But we can remember. We can amplify. We can refuse to look away. Your voices may have been silenced, but your truth echoes louder than ever.

History will not forget you. And neither will we.

Many months ago, Anas al-Sharif appeared on Al Jazeera and talked about surprising his wife on their anniversary. He had laid a table on the ground and presented her with a big red tomato which he had managed to find. I nearly wept at the time. I did weep yesterday.

We owe an enormous debt of gratitude to every journalist who has reported from Gaza. Without their bravery, we would be in the dark. Israel is determined to eliminate every witness to its Final Solution. But our voices will remain strong.

The response by the Western legacy media to the assassinations of Palestinian journalists has been repugnant.

I pray that all of your hopes stated in your final message come to fruition and even exceed what you hoped for and I pray that you and your fellow journalists rest in peace and know that we are forever grateful to all you have contributed!

I was just rereading "If I Must Die" by Refaat Alareer, and it is clear to me that the occupation forces were using all means available to target journalists. This crime against humanity must be stopped! The US was couped by Isreal, we have to take our country back!

Worse than Nazis - at least the Nazis tried to hide their abject depravity - Israel revels in it .

....agree! ...However, what's worse than being called a Nazi? Will it be being called a ....Zionist?

Isn't there a law against that now, in many countries? Because it's "Antisemitic"?

I suggest visiting Holocaust Memorials; tell people that Genocides are good, right? What those Germans did should be celebrated for the fine example it was.

The Jews admired it SO much, they replicated it as soon as they got their own country.

Thus, it will be State of the Art for other countries to repeat.

Genocide is good government policy. And, entertainment for the soldier class.

Where is the Holocaust video game for children? They can learn while playing.

Well , Israel tried to sink and kill all the American Sailors aboard the USS Liberty and may have assassinated the most beloved US President in my lifetime .

So ,a tent full of Al Jazeera Journalist reporting on a genocide Israel and America says isn't happening and has never happened -never stood any chance of survival .

My days and nights are filled with the horror of what Palestinians are enduring everyday. They’re starving to death, dying daily at US death traps, dying being bombed in their tents and everyday brings them more misery. We need the western media to wake the hell up and save Gaza. Please push their messages to western outlets, I do it constantly in the hopes we’ll finally get the Nazis to stop killing 💔🙏.
