Thank you Ryan for another great example of the constant zionist manipulation of the truth to hurt the Palestinian people. The arrogant self righteous depth they will go to.

Frum has been very outspoken about America's march to fascism but I haven't heard him acknowledge that he spent the first half of his career setting the table for the insanity we're dealing with now.

I know that some people view The Atlantic as a bastion of anti-Trumpism but I am skeptical. Thanks for this article.

Highly recommend the Citations Needed podcast episode on The Atlantic. Here's the transcript, but it can be found on any podcast app:

The abjectness of the FrumMurrayGross groveling surprised me a little. Frum has always been a suck-up grifter. Made a seamless transition from a warmongering Zionist Repub to a warmongering Zionist Dem.

The Atlantic is a bastion of neoliberalism that helped usher us into the current crisis, including Frum. Off with their heads!

This piece underscores a troubling erosion of journalistic integrity—when pundits and media insiders moonlight as ghostwriters for state actors during wartime, the line between reporting and propaganda collapses. The 2014 Gaza war left thousands dead, including hundreds of children, yet figures like Frum and Murray chose to amplify the official narrative rather than interrogate it. Their behind-the-scenes speechwriting and fundraising efforts for a military campaign raise urgent questions about media complicity and the laundering of violence through polished rhetoric. Journalism should challenge power, not serve it.

In the "a picture is worth a thousand words" category, I wish Substack comments allowed for emojis or .gifs to say what I want to say, concisely, so instead [insert "vomiting" emoji] here.

Here's some of what the Code of Ethics of the Society of Professional Journalists says journalists should do regarding conflict of interest, under its third principle, Act Independently:

+ Avoid conflicts of interest, real or perceived. Disclose unavoidable conflicts.

+ Refuse gifts, favors, fees, free travel and special treatment, and avoid political and other outside

activities that may compromise integrity or impartiality, or may damage credibility.

+ Deny favored treatment to advertisers, donors or any other special interests, and resist internal

and external pressure to influence coverage.

Under the Code's fourth principle, Be Accountable and Transparent:

+ Expose unethical conduct in journalism, including within their organizations.

+ Abide by the same high standards they expect of others.

But of course the SPJ Code of Ethics is just taped over the dart boards in Frum's* and Murray's respective offices, if indeed they're even aware the thing exists.

*Didn't his role in the Dumbya (mal)administration mean he was banned from showing his face in public ever again?

The full code - for virtually all MSM "journalists" to ignore - is here https://www.spj.org/pdf/spj-code-of-ethics.pdf.

What more do we need to know that "divided loyalty" is a joke? The lobby that serves a foreign government increasingly through its aggression in the Middle East threatens our national security and should be required to register under the Foreign Agents Registration Act. It's long overdue.
