Two years of destruction, 67,000 lives lost (this number is much higher), and still the bombs fall even as leaders talk of “peace.” If this is what a ceasefire looks like, what does war mean anymore? The world can’t look away while Gaza is turned to rubble under the pretense of security.

i think its more about dialing down the pressure on western governments and institutions who are either aiding or ignoring the genocide 2 widespread public condemnation. The thousand of people in prisons being tortured will remain, and the civilian killing will continue albeit quieter.

its now a land without housing, medical or most community facilities, sanitation and entry restrictions, with olive trees and farmland destroyed. This may be a pause to allow some starving families to eat.

the deal wont progress past the Nobel Peace Prize announcement.

Its really sad when you compare the Palestinians killed (over 20,000 children) to the Israelies that have died. There is no excuse for the kind of killing the Israelies have inflicted on the Palestinians.

It is SO ISRAELI to step up attacks even now. It is "gratuitous" killing so to speak. They can't just retreat, no, they have to slaughter as many as possible. I am hoping these murderous a-holes will be hauled before the Hague one day soon, as well as leaders of US and UK past and present.

And, Blair? Of all people! Again, SO ISRAELI (and so trump), it's like they go out of their way to do the worst, most vicious and mean-spirited actions possible.

Not to mention kushner and ivanka, that disgusting, deceiptful greedy duo! two sleazy scumbags if ever there was a pair- they are so repulsive!
