Egypt, wtf? Sold out to US military. Can't even let this one little march happen. Sad to hear they have jailed Pro-Palestine demonstrators.

Egypt citizens are supportive of Palestinians and would provide aide for thousands who move through their nation ( and would probably join them) to assist in Gaza. Governments are another thing. Fortunately there are many other nations ( many of which have been attacked by Israel) which may give people access to make this journey.

"Sold out" is exactly the right term! Back in the '70s, they'd trade loyalty for a carton of Marlboros without hesitation. I know—21 years in the merchant marine taught me that firsthand. If there was something in it for them, great. If not, well, even their own mothers weren’t off-limits.

So Egypt is going to watch their brothers starve to death in Gaza. Allow Israel to annex West Bank . Watch Israel bomb Lebanon and Syria and Iran. And do they not realize they will be next???

Next indeed! Vassal ducks, lined up and fattened with Swiss bank accounts through kleptocratic repression, and when they fall, their countries get absorbed into the greater genocidal project, which will induce crocodile tears from their MacMansions in LA and Miami.

Given that Israel has demonstrated by actions in Gaza the level of their concern for non Israeli civilian harm and death, please opine on their inclinication to bomb the Aswan dam if displeased with actions of Egypt and the short and long term sequellae of this action on Egypt.

Thugs ruling Egypt have no legitimicy as also the case with other Arab rulers. They are beholden to their masters in the West for their survival. Shame !!

60% of Egypt lives below the poverty line. Plus they have lost major revenue from the Suez Canal due to the zionist genocide in Gaza, and the solidarity of Ansarallah in the region. They have been at war with the zionist entity in the past, and been cruelly punished. They lost their entire airforce in the 1980s after a zionist attack. Everyone in Egypt loathes the zionist state. I have been there twice - once very recently. They never gave permission for this march, which is the sole reason I did not join it. Sinai is a militarised zone, which is part of Egypt only because Israel handed it over in exchange for Egyptian recognition of Israel as a state.

Whilst I agree with EVERYTHING this march stands for, it was unfair to expect Egypt to sanction it. This could have made them a target, and created even more hardship for their people.

Justice is priceless, but injustice is easily purchased. This is the key to Zionist power in the US and here we see it in action in Egypt.

Why were these organizers openly declaring their intent to the state? Egypt has been a zionist state since Nasser's death. They could've planned to avoid & resist the repression instead of just presenting all their details for the cops to come & take them away.

DO NOT be deterred! As is evident in the movement of millions of people around the globe to and from the far corners of the world, every day, Humans cannot be stopped, forever, in going to and reaching whatever place they wish to reach.

Will most European nations tolerate their citizens, who are peacfully bringing help to others, being harmed when they do so? Unity between nations and peoples, needed to continue these attempts to assist, with or without protections or permissions from GOVERNMENTS, with or without the "correct visas", will win out. The formation of state, social, political or even family-based ( all the Smiths of New York City or the Mbuguas of Kenya) will provide the pathway to access to Gaza;s borders. This cannot be stopped, as the Christian Crusaides could not be stopped in the 15th Century. Hey! Today we have private planes and airports that have been attacked by Israel, ships that have stopped deliveries TO Israel, buses in every nation that have transported people to all corners of neighboring nations from every direction, people parachuting in and underground and above ground railroads . Forget Government permissions (you've been there and tried that?) and remember your mission: Open the gates for humanitarian aide sent in and distributed by UN servcies. There ARE UN forts and UN soldiers at the border now. There are UN workers in Gaza to distribute aide now. Ask for UN protections for your assembled groups from those soldiers, then keep going, and going, and going.....
