I take offense every time that I read something like "...affirmed yet again that the U.S. is not only refusing to impose any meaningful consequences, but remains firmly committed to supporting the genocidal war. " The operatives of the two cartel political parties that maintain their strangle hold on U.S. government and their wealthy oligarch benefactors are NOT "the U.S." The rank and file citizens whose voices are suppressed by the megaphone blare of oligarch-owned corporate media are the U.S., not Anthony Blinken, Donald Trump, Joe Biden or Debbie Wasserman Schultz. Had the will of the real U.S. been acted upon in good faith by its supposed representatives, the real U.S. would have joined the chorus of voices to condemn a genocide by Israel just as they did at Nuremberg to condemn the genocide of the Jewish people and others. A genocidal slaughter of civilians is not made morally acceptable depending on whose nation, ethnicity, or religion perpetrates it.
