What happens to negotiations after Nobel is announced on the 10th? Don’t tell Trump? Also, if they don’t give up hostages, they get flattened. If they do give up hostages and Trump lied, they get flattened. Basically, Hamas has almost nothing to lose. Palestine has world support. Now we find out what that is worth.
You would have to be an idiot to place any faith in the idea that Trump wants a “lasting peace”. Having said that, it is a given that Israel has not come this far to end its ultimate goal of ethnically cleansing Gaza. If (and when) they continue their unrelenting slaughter, it will cause significant embarrassment for Trump, and we all know how important that is to the orange moron. That might set the stage for a new game… unfortunately being played on the same field. What will the world do, as its credibility is also on the line.

Release the hostages, and when Israel backs out, which I'm sure they will do, at least they will have the moral high ground, and "perhaps" the rest of the world will react. I think at this point, Riveria Mar-a-Largo is out of reach.
