Hamas, Hamas, Hamas. "Negotiations" are a charade that allows Israel to pretend it is talking while allowing it to keep killing. The same is true for the "humanitarian" aid farce.

Imagine if the US said to the Indians back in the 19th century, "we will give you peace but only if those who are fighting us surrender"

The Indians knew and the Palestinians know that their oppressor will not honor any deal and will go for complete conquest no matter what is "agreed"

The US then and Israel now intend to continue doing what they want to do because they hold all the cards. The only difference is that now the US has the ability to stop Israel, back in the 19th century nobody had the ability to stop the US.

As Sergey Lavrov has said, America is not agreement-capable.

Excellent summary of the politican and social reality that must exist for the over 2 million people in Palestein and the countless Palestinian citizens by birth (in Palestien) around the world. Those displaced by war and repression have say in what could be the state promised them in 1948 when the State of Israel displaced them to establish a Jewish homeland. This feature highlights the need for the forces that conspired to provide this homeland now need to enforce its peace, along original boundaries, returning stolen lands and settlements built illegally. to Palestine. The illusion that the People of Palestime can be bombed and starved into disappearance is not a valid solution and will destroy Israel before Palestinians and their neighbors are vanquished. A illustionary belief in such an outcome proved a danger to the survival of other nations, in the past, including Nazi Germany.

There was a Palestinian homeland, prior to 1948. The UN stole the lands, when the western imperialist powers, which dominated it, awarded the majority of the land of Palestine, to a minority of the people, living in Palestine. The two state option, was grossly unfair in 1948 and to even contemplate it as an option now is obscene. The solution is the dismantling of zionism and the establishment of a free and democratic Palestine, with the right of return, for the refugees and their descendants. Free free Palestine 🇯🇴🇯🇴🇯🇴

Netanyahu's agenda is to shadow-govern the United States, place the citizens under martial law to shut down protests against Israel's genocide, and to continue to bribe the WILLING sellers of the two cartel parties that allow Netanyahu to shadow-govern American citizens. All Americans should reject this agenda and advocate to try every operative of both parties that assisted this takeover as criminals for breach of oath and maybe for treason.

I recall when Hamas released POW Edan Alexander, all they got in return were more U.S. bombs dropped on Palestinians by Israel. US/Witkoff honest negotiator? Israel honor a ceasefire?

And, Hamas by any other name would still be the Resistance as long as there is occupation!

He doesn’t sound like a “terrorist “ to me. But again mainstream corporate media will never let the public hear him and decide for themselves.

Naim is right, this is no longer about Hamas. Despite Israel's obsession about Hamas, Hamas is done. We must go on from there.

The West Bank of Jerusalem remains a sticking point, with settlers committing unwarranted violence against the Palestinians. Netanyahu's agenda should be a non-starter. I wish that Trump could be more honest, but he and Netanyahu have their own agendas, namely self-preservation.

The occupied West Bank, occupied East Jerusalem, the occupied Gaza Strip and the apartheid zionist settler colony in occupied Palestine, comprise Palestine. Free free Palestine 🇯🇴🇯🇴🇯🇴

I applaud DropSite News for being one of the very few US media outlets (perhaps the only one?) to interview Hamas and present their comments. I don't know if places like the NYTimes just don't bother to ask for the interviews (On the grounds that they do not interview terrorists?) or if they are denied them. But whatever you think of Hamas, it's important to hear what they are saying. I notice it's always far different from what the US media claims it is saying, based on the US mediators.

I think Trump would gain political points and lots of attention by calling for an end to the war.

He's more interested in money, and from what I can understand, would be given property rights on the "Middle East Riviera" he and Netanyahoo talk about creating on top of the ruins of Gaza. Trump's for sale to the highest bidder and unfortunately the poor Palestinians have nothing to offer since Israel's stolen everything they have.

Because of my pro-Palestian stand someone were to come up to me and say that I’m a Hamas sympathizer, I would tell them that they’re right and give examples, of which were clearly written in this piece.

Hamas wants to end this, and they have made concessions all along, even relinquishing their political seat in the Palestian government. But it’s the West that continues to blame Hamas sooner or later, the West will lose. But in the meantime, it’s the Palestinians are the ones paying for it.
