“In case we don’t make a deal, we’ll need it,” Trump has said. Iran remains defiant in the face of ultimatums, pledging unprecedented retaliation to any attack.
why the F does fascist trump want to attack Iran....to insure Israel it can expand with total impunity it's quest to concuer adjacent nation states. Screw zionistI Israel...let them deal with thier surround...it's not our problem. Trump is a crazy demented sociopath of a man out of control as is Rubio. As are all his menions that kneel in his presence to kiss his ass in daily ritual. Man up to this demented pedophile you republicans that have a backbone.
It’s impossible to look at this without acknowledging the obvious: Washington is once again bending its entire military posture around the demands of a government that treats regional stability as collateral damage. When two U.S. carrier strike groups—the Lincoln and the Ford—are parked on Iran’s doorstep at the exact moment Netanyahu is openly dismissing diplomacy, the question isn’t subtle. It’s whether U.S. power is being used to protect American interests or to underwrite someone else’s ambitions.
For years, Israel has insisted that only maximal pressure, confrontation, or outright force can “solve” Iran. And every time, the U.S. ends up rearranging its assets, its credibility, and its people around that worldview. Call it “force projection” if you want, but at this point it looks less like strategy and more like Washington acting as the muscle for a government that has no intention of de‑escalating anything.
If this blows up, it won’t be Israeli officials paying the price. It’ll be American forces pulled into a conflict we didn’t choose, American taxpayers funding another open‑ended disaster, and American lives put at risk to satisfy a regional agenda that has nothing to do with actual U.S. security.
And once nuclear‑armed states and a major regional power are trading fire, there is no clean exit. History is painfully clear: when Washington ties its credibility to another country’s red lines, it loses the ability to say no. We’re watching that trap close in real time.
First, the United States has nothing to gain from going to war with Iran, and much to lose.
Second, the only reason we're engaging in this saber-rattling is because Israel wants us to do it -- and Israel has an iron grip on our political leaders.
Anyone paying attention understands that we have a Hitlerite core running the show in the US. and they are becoming more distraught and insane by the day. They are particularly desperate because there domestic plans are falling apart--the failed ICE exploits and the persistence of the Epstein situation, fears of AI, backwardness on energy and global integration are particularly weakening them. Jeremy, I sure hope your projections and those of the experts you site on Iran prove erroneous. Not only for the survival of Iranians, Iran and the region but because of this: If you or I were high up in the regimes in Russia or China how would we assess the situation? Would we think that we are better situated and stronger than Iran and, with our nuclear weapons and ground forces, therefore not likely to see the US attacking us once it removes Iran's regime? Thus, to not get involved? To me that seems an implausible assessment by any thoughtful analysts when dealing with this wounded beast.
We are less that 100 years from 50 million dead in WWII and the decimation of the Soviet Union/Russia in the Nazi attack; and all the wars and terror that ensued once the US had become the big boppa by dropping Little Boy, cowing Stalin at Yalta set up it's permanent dominance but now transitioned desperately to this uncontainable new era of imperialist unilateralism. Back in the 40s the technology was infantile compared to now. The declaration a day or so ago by Russia and China that they will participate in joint military operations with Iran in the Arabian sea in the next two weeks suddenly seems a weak ploy to try and hold off what we see evolving before our eyes. Trump has already blown past that and brushed it aside, deciding it implies that neither great power will get involved. Just listen to Linsey Graham in Germany. But if the attack on Iran does begin within a week as your sources claim it will, will Russia and China and Pakistan and who knows who else, actually be able to stay out given the world-destabilizing impact a full on shock and awe attack on Iran will have (regardless of what happens inside Iran). It just feels like the aggressive US posture right now recapitulates the world before Hitler invaded all of Europe, to show he could, and puts governments and militaries on a trip wire (even in Europe).
Of course the Europeans aren't going to do much of anything to stop a US-Israeli attack on Iran. But at some point Trump and Rubio and their Nazis bros will cross an invisible line. No one knows where such a line sits (just as no one knew before the previous World Wars). But our Nazis are again testing that intimidation factor to see. If they, like the Israeli's with their advancing yellow line in Gaza and seizure of the West Bank, keep pushing into uncharted territory, at some point some powerful government could decide that, unable to actually block US growing military aggressions they might have no viable alternative than preemptively throwing nukes at major US cities and demanding that the US surrender. Trump's Nazis are casting that dare on the waters. That preemption would launch a civilization destroying wider nuclear war and of course put an end to the anti-State democratizing movement that is gathering steam in the US right now. But your sources were wrong a few months ago when they thought that the US was about to attack. Since there is little we can do to stop an attack right now, let's hope that the current assessment is also misreading the situation.
Yours is really quite an excellent summary, and... I've felt quite similarly for a long time... and, of course, the ancillary (but purposeful, I believe) benefit for Trump is... that everyone will get distracted from his obviously deep involvement with Epstein.
NEVER start a war with Iran...the combination of religious belief and harms from long term sanctions imposed by USA has made US no friends in Iran. The people have watched as we decimated IRAQ and Afghanistan for yet more evidence of our posionous stay and even worse departures. The people have reason to resist such an option with their lives ( and they are an armed population) and failure for all involved. To respond to such a plan will lead to resistance of such interference, at home and internationaly. With such circumstances and options for "change" of anything will be impossible. This invasion will either create another Gaza involving many nations who fear such outcome, from the region and from the world. To try to do this militarily is to destroy all nations, first to go will be Israel.
Trump is controlled by Israel (just like probably most of Congress, at this point in history), and if he doesn't do what they want, since Epstein seems to so clearly have been (or "be", depending upon whether he is actually dead... who can really even say for certain?... nothing would surprise me anymore) an Israeli agent or somehow deeply connected, they will "unleash" the Epstein files on him, and since Trump has never cared one iota about any other human being besides himself, he will do what comes naturally to him... save his own ass, which includes starting/continuing wars that kill some/many (all?) of us U.S. citizens, and, without question, hundreds of thousands to millions (to billions?) of world citizens ... and btw, the dementia patient, Biden (well, his administration... since he clearly was not thinking for himself and clearly was not really allowed to handle this country's "steering wheel") would have done the same thing (but probably for different reasons... but the results would be the same... which is all that matters).
So much for "no more endless wars"

Doesn't Trump have to get the US Congress involved in this? Like maybe some kind of approval for war? To justify all the killing for Israel's benefit.
Let's be clear about two related matters:
First, the United States has nothing to gain from going to war with Iran, and much to lose.
Second, the only reason we're engaging in this saber-rattling is because Israel wants us to do it -- and Israel has an iron grip on our political leaders.

If that monkey was also a child-rapist.
I don't have a shred of respect for ANYONE, currently enlisted in the US Military. There is no excuse.

Philip of Spain had a beautiful armada, too.
