According to internal Israeli records, the military filed just three criminal indictments for all Gaza-related offenses, part of a justice system designed to act as a smokescreen and provide impunity.
The fact that only three indictments have surfaced despite overwhelming evidence, thousands of civilian deaths, and countless documented abuses is less a surprise than a confirmation of systemic failure.
This isn’t justice. It’s impunity. An impunity that thrives because the west led by the USA looks away or worse, because it has decided that Palestinian lives matter less. That is the ugliest truth behind the silence. When entire neighborhoods are leveled, and children starve, yet accountability stops at three indictments, the system is not broken, it is designed to protect the perpetrators.
This silence cannot be allowed. To call it “justice” is to betray the very idea of human rights.

Gee, somehow haven't heard much of that "most moral army" malarkey in quite awhile, guess the higher-ups in the Hasbara unit said best to let that one rest until we can stage a phony scene of an IDF'em murderer giving a piece of candy out of his rucksack to a starving Gazan orphan, the international press will love that.
So the whole rigamarole is of a piece with the rest that is Israel and Zionism, tedium upon tedium to a) just wear ya down, and b) lure you down a rabbit hole leading to moral relativism and nihilism. I'm beyond tired with their games. Along with feeling entitled other people's land, property, futures, and lives, they also think they have a claim on the patience of those not otherwise robbed by them.
It seems short-sighted to me that only Israeli soldiers are being charged with war crimes. Israel's elected leaders, Netanyahu, Ben G'Vir, Smotrich are the ones primarilly responsible for the directives given to the IDF. Netanyahu has been seeking to prolong the war to avoid indictment on charges by the Judicial Branch even seeking to weaken the Judiciary prior to this war. He was so distracted from his duty of protecting the Israeli people that the sneak attack of 2 years ago went under the radar of a usually very vigilant government. The Israeli government has also turned a blind eye to the Palestinians in the West Bank who have been shot, their homes burned and their olive groves destroyed by the Settlers.
How is it so few Israelis refuse military service? The few seem to get paraded around for doing the decent thing??? If it wasn't for the US telling them it was a "bad look" they'd probably still be bragging about it! The Nazis at least knew what they were doing was immoral and wrong. They hid it in remote areas.
When a military can investigate itself for hundreds of alleged violations and produce almost nothing in terms of accountability, that’s not a justice system—it's a shield. The numbers in this report make it painfully clear that impunity isn’t an accident; it’s the design
Thank you, Umer. This kind of operation is nauseating to any human being with a conscience, but not surprising in the least. If there actually were any functioning institutions interested in the pursuit of justice, THAT would be surprising.

Seriously, what actually constitutes a crime for Israeli soldier or settler? Not being the most bloodthirsty, amoral, butcher on the planet?
