What is so despicable is that the US is so devoted to the genocide that they strike out blindly at anyone who gets in their way.

Glad to see this proceed. It seems to me, however that the time has come not merely to "cut ties with Israel" but to target other nations who are supporting the ongoing genocide as well -- including the US.

How surreal it is for Mark Rubio to call all participating countries Communists, or illegal. How surreal is it that real justice has moved far away from European countries, to the only place it can go. South American. But more? Words spoken at that Hague meeting by all these countries are true, backed by evidence. What will Rubio say when asked why he supported a genocide, and attempted to stop The Hague from announcing and stopping a genocide? I think it will sound something like this. "I didn't know. I just followed orders". A think a lot of Trumps people will be saying these words, very soon and for the rest of their lives. There is no need to PROVE this is a genocide. We have truth in all media. I wonder who else will claim they were just "following orders"?

And don't forget SOUTH AFRICA brought the first ICC complaint against Israel. Followed by Ireland, Spain and Portugal. AND Representatives of over 30 countries are at this meeting. This meeting includes every continent but Antarctica. Those of us from countries not at this meeting need to listen to what this grouping asks, and work like hell to do them.

Thank you for the country count!! We can't scorn countries that aren't former empires. They are part of the past. It's long past time for Israel to face the truth. Thirty countries? Thank you again for having the PROOF Rubio seems to lack.

Of course, he might not KNOW where these countries are OR continents either!!

That’s the classic answer of the Nazis that was debunked at Nuremberg - “Just following orders “ doesn’t cut it” I am in Colombia and find this poignant as I am alone ,stressed , and totally unsure of anything in this world -hope Both US and Colombia find peace and true democracy in the future❤️

The Hague group needs to take meaningful ACTION to prevent more deaths in Gaza. Sanctions alone will not prevent deaths. There needs to be multinational force to open the crossings and remove IDF from all Palestine

I’m tired of U.S. bullshit foreign policy. Sanctions on Cuba for more than 60 years, a country that has one of the highest literacy rates and more doctors per capita than most other countries. U.S. was the last holdout to very grudgingly sanction the apartheid white South African regime; the last to finally recognize the need to ground the Boeing 737 Max. And it’s the country that supports the deranged, genocidal actions of the Israel government and through its actions of materially supporting Israel and continually running interference for Israel doesn’t recognize the basic humanity of Palestinians. The Palestinians also have one of the highest literacy rates in the world. Is it that the U.S. enjoys punishing such success and maybe fears this is a threat to its world order that props up abusive autocratic regimes?

The foreign policy of the US and its Western imperialist vassals and their white settler colonies is one of white supremacy, pure and simple. They use such proxies as the zionist entity to carry out their "dirty work."

The imposition of sanctions, first imposed by JFK in 1962, on Cuba as a result of Cuba nationalising US corporations, are just another example of a hegemon acting out, because they have the military might to do so.

White supremacy doesn't recognise the basic humanity within peoples outside of their non-imperialist world.

For over 80 years, even further back than the Nakba, it's the Palestinian people who have paid the most horrendous price for the Western imperialist Holocaust. It was white people exterminating white people, and brown or Arabic people are being punished. Islamaphobia in the West has not gone away. Free free Palestine 🇯🇴🇯🇴🇯🇴

The zionist entity is a US proxy. It's doing the "dirty work" that the white supremacist West and the US hegemon want done. Free free Palestine 🇯🇴🇯🇴🇯🇴

This is an important story and yet I haven't seen it anywhere on mainstream media. What would I do without Drop Site?

I learned about the conference through Progressive International, which sent me a link to the proceedings, well-summarized here by Drop Site. The email I got from Progressive International also contained a link to a letter by Colombian President Petro, which was published in The Guardian. In it, Petro expounded on the dangers to all developing nations of the failure to enforce international law, which should be providing protection against rogue states with imperialist aspirations. I was glad to see that at least some European nations — Ireland, Spain and Portugal — participated. There was an earlier meeting this year in Madrid. I haven’t yet seen coverage of that, but it was mentioned at the Hague Group conference. There will be another meeting in New York on July 28. You will probably be able to get more details on Progressive International’s website. Its subscription is free, and it will send you email notices of upcoming events.
