Hence operation 'Epstein Fury'

Similarly, could it be that there was blackmail material in the files that were leveraged against him to break what was perhaps his biggest campaign promise?

His promises mean nothing.

Wasn't Epstein helping the Israeli money men make connections..Israel seems to be the main country to benefit from this war that US tax payer money is fronting.... "follow the money"

Calling questions about war motives “antisemitic” is a convenient way to avoid answering them. The poll shows something deeper: Americans increasingly believe U.S. foreign policy isn’t being made for them. When nearly half the country thinks the president might be acting in another country’s interests—or using a war to bury a domestic scandal—that’s a legitimacy crisis, not a conspiracy theory. Instead of smearing critics, maybe Washington and the media should ask why so many Americans have stopped believing them in the first place.

to keep him away from the button.

Overweight in Epstein files the causation of Trump’s going to war.

Not convinced this is true. It's old news sure more revelations are to emerge but folks have made up their minds: Trump loyalists stay loyalists. Thrump's opposition stay opposed. And than those that don't give a F either way.

Everyone is in their camps.

Israel mossad operatives in our government have trump's ear.

I'm already a paid subscriber, and I'm not planning to upgrade, not right now anyway, but I do think this is a good use of my contribution, and I think polls like this will make me more likely to maintain my subscription. So when you're counting, that's a vote for good quality polls that ask better questions.

About the story, when you're comparing numbers, report them the same way. For example:

"A [Democratic} candidate who supports the war will be badly punished by primary voters in the 2026 congressional elections, with voters saying they’d be 79% less likely to support them, a number that held roughly the same for 2028 presidential candidates.

Republicans, however, would be more likely to support a pro-war candidate by a net 39 points, with only 20% saying it would make them less likely to back the candidate for president."

I think that means 59% of Repugs prefer a pro war candidate, but I'd like to have those numbers reported in the same way. Or have raw data at the end.

But even with the quibble, good story.

This misses the point. The military industrial complex, CIA, as outlined in policy papers wants the war for US hegemony supremacy. The fact that this aligns with Israels genocidal, biblical aspirations pushes the action forward and finally the president is anxious to take the spotlight off of his Epstein files.

Please do a survey about unaffiliated voters (aka independents) and the issue of closed primaries. The effort to keep primaries closed is heating up - a bipartisan effort to ensure we independents (45% of Americans now self identify as unaffiliated) cannot vote in primaries. Independents are not “swing voters,” we are noncompliant and refused to participate in the two party corruption. I don’t “swing” vote. And for the first time since 1976 I could not vote for an independent for President thanks to Andy Cuomo and the DP. Outrageous!!!! Thanks for all you do at Drop Site and BP.

We all should be saying Trump-Epstein Files.

Conspiracy much? Trump left Epstein behind prior to 2007 after Epstein had behaved in an appropriate manner to the daughter of a member of Mar el Lago. Emails revealed prior to the DOJ dump revealed that Epstein was increasingly angry about Trumps attitude and that he suspected that Trump was the one who had advised the FBI to look at Epstein and he was right in that suspicion. None of this makes Trump a good guy because he’s not. However, why are you not focussing on Clinton? A known sex pest. He appears multiple times on the Lolita express manifest, Trump does not appear at all. Clinton made many visits to Epstein island, Trump never set foot on the place. Clinton ditched his secret service multiple times when he visited Epstein island. Clinton went on private trips with Epstein including a safari. The Clintons, and others, have testified under oath that they never saw or witnessed and Trump involvement in Epstein’s activities. Get over it.

If Trump wasn't in the Epstein files, he would still need a war to distract from ICE/tariffs/Greenland/Canada. Venezuela could have been a proper gradual occupation to assert dominance over the Americas and would've saved the GOP in the midterms.

Individuals absolutely have a right to self defense, but 'countries' aren't real and we probably shouldn't frame it that way. After all, does Iran's authoritarian gov't recognize its ppl's right to sovereignty and dignity? The country/gov't itself just doesn't seem like a morally-upstanding entity to defend this way.

If Iran funds terrorism operations against the US, we must act in self defense. This war looks anything but defensive though.. Soft power and careful strategy would have done better to not engender greater hatred for the American ppl and keep us in a forever-war of anti-"terrorism". And a hot war risks escalation that could more greatly endanger the American ppl.

I think that for Trump, maybe only a little less-so than other US leaders, the military-industrial complex has motivated our entry into yet another broad conflict.

You've solicited supplemental donations from subscribers but seemingly provide no method to do that. At least I can't find it. Your page layout needs a link.

And yes, I'd like more polls along these lines.
