The international community must be willing to say they will prosecute everyone who has committed war crimes. And Barghouti (the Mandela of the Palestinians) must be released. My additional comment to this article - already in BRICS countries people are comparing the situation to the Khmer Rouge genocide in Cambodia, one omitted in the western canon of genocides. Gaza is already irrevocably enshrined along with Baba Yar, Treblinka, Auschwitz, Darfur, et al. While Netanyahu and his affiliates strive to manage the reputational damage on the eighth front - with the UN and ICC designations of genocide (among many others), such damage is irreparable. Irrespective of the outcome of the Gaza negotiations, this and similar atrocities can be expected to continue as a result of the US/IS/UK/EU having committed to warfare without restraint, or measured response to any rule- governed restrictions such as the Geneva Conventions.
