Based in Germany and listening to the news is tragic. In the morning, one report includes Hamas rejecting Israeli claim that it had shot at soldiers. In the afternoon, however, this part of the report is not mentioned and the IOF claim accepted as fact. And always, the word "terrorist" is repeatedly applied to Hamas as if to suggest that it explains everything.
Israel has obviously lost both this battle and their attempt at war. It is up to the rest of the world to stop the genocide which further erodes any credibility, as a people or a religious state, that Israel may think they have. Israeli soldiers that now occupy these blighted zones would do well for all to advise their home community of the positions of peril, of having to police a zone with lethal force that is part of a plan for peace, that can help end the war and bring soldiers home. We in nations outside Gaza know that such postings are destructive to all involved and their future peace. Let the ceasefire and the delivery of humanitarian aid go forward to heal all nations that fight or support unwinable wars.
