The UN resolution may speak of “peace,” but the reality on the ground is mass displacement, blocked aid, and escalating violence against civilians and journalists. Any plan that ignores Palestinian self‑determination while families freeze in flooded camps risks entrenching injustice rather than ending it. Genuine peace requires accountability, humanitarian access, and recognition of basic rights — not just new boards and forces imposed from above.

I like what Hamas said and I quote “imposes a mechanism to achieve the occupation’s objectives, which it failed to accomplish through its brutal genocide.” Netanyahu just loves this deal.

Looks like there isn't much light at the end of the Palestinian freedom tunnel.

Why would any rational/logical thinker, at least one who reads independent media (meaning NON-state_controlled media, which is all that mainstream/corporate media totally is, certainly at this point in history), think that "Trump's Gaza plan" hasn't already been completely discussed with, and approved by, Israel (or vice versa, they're one and the same), and that either there will be NO Palestinian statehood ever -OR- if there is a "statehood", it will be a completely meaningless one, with the US/Israel in complete control of it (wiping out any Palestinian culture)... therefore when "Israel vows to block any path to a Palestinian state", they make that "vow" knowing full well that they are really not worried about that issue at all... not at all.

It is SO hard to read Drop Site News. While I value hearing about the situation globally, I wonder if it would be possible to please balance your stories that show the banal and evil side of humanity with some stories of people doing good and positive things and of positive initiatives. Such things exist and I think we need to hear about them too. (It's why I value the Christian Science Monitor, for instance.) In order to survive and combat evil, we need to feed our souls and our spirits with evidence that the human race deserves to survive! I strongly suspect that people are turned off the media because its definition of "news" is almost always entirely negative.

There is NOTHING good or positive about Israel. Nothing good or positive about Israel's ongoing genocide of Palestinians over the past 2+ years. Nothing good or positive about Israel's 77+ years of systematic racism, abuse, murder, and land theft committed against Palestinians. Nothing good or positive about the U.S. fully unconditionally supporting Israel's never-ending genocide, abuse, violence, terrorism, murder, and land theft being committed against Palestinians daily. Nothing good about the U.S. constantly, consistently lying about it to U.S. citizens and everyone else.

There is NOTHING good or positive about Israel. Fabricating bogus "feel-good" stories so readers are more comfortable reading it helps absolutely NOTHING. Israel is a murderous terrorist state run by terrorists, and it should be reported on as it factually is, with the full umvarnished truth.
