Three Democratic candidates are benefiting from dark-money super PACs, and they share hundreds of donors who have previously given to AIPAC and its subsidiaries.
Democratic primaries are being hijacked by a right-wing dark-money network that also funds Trump—full stop. The goal isn’t representation, it’s obedience: vote for endless weapons, endless aid, and zero accountability. Voters are being deliberately misled, and that’s the point.
Excellent report, so thanks to Drop sIte and American Prospect.
The good news is that pro-Israel advocates are hiding in the bushes and can no longer publicly speak in favor of American support for Israel.
The bad news is that we all now have to play the whac-a-mole game when they pop-up as wolves in sheep's clothing with innocuous names for super PACs. For that, we need independent journalists to remove those masks and show the wolves behind them.
Stay on this, please, and expand the research to elections around the country, and expose all candidates taking pro-Israel money, publish the names of all pro-Israel super PACs, and name all individual pro-Israel donors.
AIPAC is registered as a domestic but everyone knows its a front for Israel. It should in all rights be listed under the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA).
Exceptional reporting, again! The questions that need to be asked in every debate and in every press conference is, "Do you support unconditional aid to Israel?" and "Do you believe Israel is committing genocide of the Palestinian people?" If they don't answer those questions or they hedge, we'll know they are bought by the new AIPAC goal of whack-a-mole buy a politician.
Now I know why the Democratic Party is powerless to bring peace to the Middle East. In New York, Representative Ritchie Torres. is a good example of how corrupt our politicians have become. Black, Hispanic, gay, urban, rural, Christian, liberal, and conservative alike need to reconsider their values here. AIPAC's dirty money to any candidate willing to look the other way as Israel annihilates human beings is beyond belief. This Israelian massacre is being condoned by educated and knowledgeable people: some of whom may have experienced racism and genocidal policies themselves. Personally, I was educated, culturally and spiritually enriched in the USA. This rich background morally influences me to condemn Israel's behavior today and condemn American politicians and the groups providing them with their dirty money.
For my part I am out on the street daily with my Palestinian flag and signboards advising voters not to vote for Daniel Biss or Laura Fine citing the vote for Israel that both of them gave when in the 2015 Illinois legislature.
Fine has said outright that she supports Israel, Biss supports the tired old lip service phrase of the two-state solution. I have asked them both directly if the support liberty and justice for all or Israel's ethnic cleansing and neither has responded.
Congress has to be freed of supporters of Israel who make the US the hypocrite of the world supporting ethnic cleansing while once proclaiming liberty and justice for all.
Why is the Progressive Change Campaign Committee endorsing Daniel Biss? I can’t find statements by Biss on Israel and Palestine. But in his 2017 gubernatorial campaign, he dropped his running mate Carlos Ramirez-Rosa because Ramirez-Rosa supports BDS. In other words, Biss doesn’t seem too progressive. He may not be deeply pro-Zionist, but he doesn’t seem to appear as pro-Palestinian. I would endorse Abu Ghazaleh in the 9th district in the blink of an eye.
Thank you for reporting these reprehensible dealings. A purple pox on all right-wing dark-money networks! An especially mega dose to AIPAC and its nefarious activities.
It’s not right that voters are not even allowed to know about the foreign control of our government.
Congress needs to put two and two together and remember what vance said, money is fungible. Congress funds Israel military supposedly for protection while Israel turns around and buys off our government in every state and our federal government.
To your point, “Patrick Dorton, a spokesman for the [UDP], has said that its aim is winning a pro-Israel majority in Congress and electing representatives who will not place conditions on U.S. aid to the Jewish state.” Source: NY Times
This was said in context of the NJ primary where the UDP spent at least $2.3 million to defeat Tom Malinowski, who spoke about conditioning aid to Israel. Analilia Mejia, who currently leads by ~500 votes, was the only candidate who agreed with the UN report that said Israel is committing genocide.
Perhaps the UDP plan has backfired. Malinowski is otherwise an ardent supporter of Israel.

Thanks for this report. It infuriates me.
Thank you for the detailed insight into these (and assuredly many more) races.
Thanks for letting me know about Bean. Without you that she accepts pro-genocide money wouldn't be known.

The question is, why the electorate can be bought? It didn't work with Zohran Mamdani.
It's not the electorate that is bought, it's the politicians. And once you buy substantially all the politicians the electorate is irrelevant.
We still have elections.
