What a lot of people don't know is that government support for silencing critics of military regimes such as this comes from the banks (here and in our allied countries) and their capitalist facilitators who arm these regimes and destabilize governments for their own financial benefit. Did you ever wonder where poor civilian rebels suddenly turn up armed to the teeth, led by men who seem to know how to operate all this weaponry and lead a war? Who's paying poor civilians more money than they've ever seen to be a part of a killing machine? Who's feeding these "regiments"? Banks. Banks bankroll wars and military regimes.

There is whole legal industry most people never heard of that does nothing but sue banks for their roles in backing regimes such as the Pakistani military. (Amal Clooney is the friendly face of this type of lawyer--speaking of, ever wonder how a law firm suing for "civil rights" could make any money?). French banks were sued for their roles in the horrific Rwandan civil war--yeah, $1000 suits sitting in towers in Paris were behind that nightmare--and they paid. The lawyers sashayed off with a cool billion. But the price is their lips are sealed. This ensures that it can go on.

Congress people who view their job as go'fers for their wealthiest donors are complicit in these war regimes. The U.S. military operates outside of the U.S. government but it's funded by U.S. citizens. The U.S. military is ostensibly to defend Americans; but in reality it is the private enforcement group of global capitalists who view the world as their oyster to divvy up and take by force. It's all about natural resources. The Gulf War, Vietnam--all of it--resources and strategic positioning. The modus operandi of the capitalist is, always and forever, threats and intimidation. It's the same from the lowest level to the highest: if you don't pay your electric bill, we'll cut if off (a potential death threat); eliminate those indigenous people so we can take their land, extract the resources and enrich ourselves. Kill off all the wildlife so we won't be bothered by pesky birds and endangered owls so we can take what we want.

Governments are supposed to belong to citizens. But "democracy" is a ruse to distract when capitalists in board rooms, backed by "the Pentagon" and other military structures in "global economies" have all the power. As they say, those that control the resources control. As people also say--you can have capitalism or you can have democracy but not both. The proof is available about how lawyers are cutting billion dollar deals with banks funding killing machines like Pakistan. I wish journalists would look into some of these lawsuits and expose what's behind them. Better yet, drag these men--the ones ultimately behind the Pakistani threats, not directly--out of their limousines into the light of day and let's get some names. I'd place bets that whoever is ultimately behind the threats and the regime makes their living on Wall Street.
