I agree. However, my perception (which may be misguided) is that the democratic party is marginally less fascist. I simply want our society to eek our way out of this mess and a Trump return doesn't seem to me to be our way out.

Less proud of it, I would say.

I would ask this:

If you believe that the GOP would never represent your interests (which is not unreasonable, for sure) why would you ever support the people who are dedicated to making sure the Democrats never represent your interests either?

This is the time to drive a stake through the heart of the corrupt leadership of the Democrats.

No, actually. The time to do that is the moment elections are over to prepare, fund and support viable primary challengers. That is what is logical.

There will never be a viable third party. I e has to fight for control of one of the two existing parties.

Or, you know, either party could try passing popular economic policies.
