Constitutionally, the power to raise and spend money (to tax and to make appropriations) rests with Congress, not the President, and certainly not an unelected maniac. Anyone else thinking about refusing to pay taxes until Congress' appropriations power is respected again?

Great idea! But how do you not pay taxes if you're retired or otherwise not receiving taxable income? But I love the idea and think that organizing such a movement or incorporating it into a broader movement is overdue.
It would also be difficult for the vast majority of people who pay their income taxes through payroll withholding. I'm still thinking about how it could work. But I've got a slogan, which is obviously the most important part:
One way to do it through payroll is to report that you have lots of dependents. That lessens your liabilities and might even eliminate them. Then when reporting time comes and you have to be straight, you just don't pay what you owe. Hope that's clear.

No Taxation for Misappropriations!
