I worked in the federal government for over 30 years. I swore an oath to uphold tht Constitution, and l had a security clearance. That clearance had to be renewed and I underwent background checks on a periodic basis.

That whiz kid might be genuinely brilliant. Does that brilliance include an understanding of human nature and empathy? Or does that brilliance come with an arrogance and disdain?

I don't defend the decisions that Biden made about Gaza. I think his policy on Gaza was absolutely disastrous.

Dismantling entire agencies and giving decision-making to people who are just as likely to be determined to implementban extreme agenda (Projrct 2025) is a radical course.

Adding that after Trump dropped his plan to take over Gaza expel the Palestinians and turn it into luxury resorts, Mr. Grim might want to reconsider

I didn't hear Grim make any assertions in favor of what he is covering in this article, and it's deeply weird to me that people in the comments seem to believe he did. Like, the very act of covering this stuff doesn't make someone in favor of it. You know that, right?

Well, Grim.sounds a bit credulous to me about Trump's foreign policy aims.

I suppose I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt because of his other journalism I've read, and the way I've seen him cover things in the past. It's always possible I'm being too generous/credulous, but I read it simply as him presenting this other person's ideas and interpretation of events, and saying "I don't don't know if it's true, but it's an interesting angle that I did not think to consider"
