DoD about to have a fleet of “armored” Teslas that can’t take a speed bump without losing an axle

That money he invested in Trump's election sure is paying off. What a garbage heap.

this is what it's all about

IT’S JUST SO BLATANT!!! 😂

I’m seriously dying here…

I am waiting to see Maga reaction on this and what Elon's fanbase does.

Charlie Henderson 🇵🇸's avatar

Ahsan, we both know it’s just going to be completely glossing over what’s in front of their faces and wondering when THEY can get their own armored teslas.

It’s just so…ham fisted. You know what I mean?

I see that there is a faction of MAGA who are feeling betrayed, or maybe I am seeing a mirage on social media 😆.

Maybe that’s not fair. Maybe people are starting to wake up to just how ridiculously corrupt this is.

Let's hope they stay awake, and don't curiously lose their voting rights, until the '26 elections. There's going to be a huge mess to clean up, and it will take a legislature with, um, balls to do it.

"You will never have to bother with voting again!"

I don't know if you would remember this, but there was a song which I think was a Paul Butterfield song, and it began with LBJ saying something. What followed immediately was audience laughter. That's how I feel about every word that comes out of Donnie's mouth. They're all foolish and dimwitted nonsense, with a sometimes generous sprinkling of malaprops. Even Donnie's idiotic comment that you quoted will evaporate.

Tesla's are for folks that want to give their $$s to Muskrat. But never me. So many other good options to buying EV models then feeding Muskrat.

But he’s rooting out the corruption!! 🤪

Insane.

The only good thing that could come from this is massive recruitment of Musk's tech serfs into the military, where their dependence on his trash vehicles will introduce them to life as an impoverished disabled person afterwards - if they survive at all. I hope China turns his mega-plant just built there into a fireworks display. My imagination is my salvation because reality bites.

I hope the reality is the fireworks display. The youth falling at his feet are immature but that shouldn't end their lives or maim them. I don't see how we survive endless wars. We act as if dropping more bombs on a tiny strip of land far far away can't affect us, as if polluted air and water stay within borderlines. I wonder how much bombings impact climate. The Pentagon won't let scientists try to measure it.

That is what politicians do. Help their cronies. You scratch my back and I will scratch your back.

Isn't this latest Leon Smuk ploy called "conflict of interest?" And how can you make an EV even heavier? Oh, yes, add armor!

One car and 950 charging stations for each overseas military base.

I wonder if there were any other vehicle mfgrs that might have a complaint.

It smells of desperation. China is eating empire's lunch on both AI and electric vehicles, not to mention infrastructure and social responsibility. MAGA probably believes throwing trillions at the highest tech will magically fix its competitiveness. Nothing could be further from the truth. China's 'edge' is in not harboring oligarch sociopaths who place personal psychopathic greed above all of society, or the advancement of civilization. In this, the collective consciousness has passed judgment and empire has already lost the race to 'save humanity.' Builds damn fine weapons though.

There have been several recent stories about Tesla sales in European countries imploding. Right on! Americans have only one real vote, and that is voting with your dollars. Withhold your money from the corporations and they will surely take note. When Coca-Cola jacked their prices during and after Covid I made a promise to myself to NEVER purchase another can. If more Americans voted with their money, it would make a difference.

This is normal operating procedure in Washington. The billionaires elect their President through lobbying and then celebrate with awarded contracts. End of Capitalism and rise of permanent monopolies.
