It is worth mentioning that blood diamonds and gems are estimated at being 18 - 25% of Israel's economy. I had read before that there were IDF/Mossad linked units stationed at the mine sites, where children (slaves), 6 years and up are put to work in those deadly mines, but have known little more. The pervasive breadth and depth of the trafficking, violence, plundering and suffering of these Countries that you describe is staggering.
