That’s exactly how I feel. There are no words to describe this horror.

May the Hague Group implement workable actions to protect Palestinians, as decided in their meeting in Bogota this week. If the rest of the world is paralysed/compromised/complicit/ accomplices - then this group of brave nations must act.

May I ask what makes you think the Hague Group would actually take meaningful action, given the current strength of international law and its enforceability against states?

Let’s examine just three of the biggest participants to illustrate why I’m skeptical:

- China is currently committing genocide against the Uyghurs.

- Turkey is effectively doing to the Kurds what Israel is doing to the Palestinians.

- Brazil is known for genocide and ethnic cleansing of Amazonian tribes.

And that’s just the tip of the iceberg — the rest of the group is hardly a collection of beacons of truth and respect for international law.

When I look at the participants, their stated goals, and the national interests at stake, it’s hard to imagine them implementing any framework that would seriously enforce international law — especially if it could backfire against their own policies.

I don’t mean to drag anyone down; I’m simply trying to understand what rational, logical basis there is for the belief that this group would go beyond issuing statements.

One reason might be that they didn't have to convene such a group. Continuing to make those statements individually, as they have been doing, did not stop being an option. Taking this additional step suggests they might have some purpose behind it. We'll soon find out, but, why shouldn't we encourage them to do what's right, as that appears to be the stated goal?

Because making statements is politically advantageous and costs them nothing. It allows them to signal opposition to the US — their perceived adversary — without committing to meaningful action.

To illustrate: if Israel joined a group calling for an end to the Uyghur genocide, nobody would take it seriously — the hypocrisy would be obvious. This is no different.

European countries also issue strong statements without follow-through because it’s easy to play the charade. It looks good for domestic audiences, it fits the narrative, and it gives the illusion of moral high ground — all without real cost.

Look at the consequences of real action and what it would mean within their own systems: you can clearly see that nothing meaningful will come from this group as a whole, because all the main actors with real power would stand to lose if such standards were applied universally.

So either they push only for Palestinians — which is hypocrisy to the max — or they just say the right words, make people clap, and score cheap points for doing nothing. It’s literally a free boost.

There's a particular sort of sadism appearing now. Equal to, or even worse than the Nazis.

Hind Rajab Foundation, July 2025

This weekend, the Hind Rajab Foundation filed new elements in their case against Benjamin Netanyahu’s “Executioner of Gaza”, Brigadier General Yehuda Vach. Alongside his 2 brothers, Colonel Golan Vach, and Captain Elishav Vach, have come to be known by human rights observers as Israel’s “first family of genocide.”

I wish those news would reach a broader audience. This remind me of some passages of the book "Heart of Darkness" in which R. Conrad recalled the horrors he witnessed in Congo. The humanity of those perpetrators is lost again. And I don't know how they can be stopped except by the US and the European countries who are all complicit!

The foundation is a misnomer. It should be called the Gaza Holocaust Foundation.

When have we ever seen this horror when the UN distributed aid?--And yet some people dare to accuse it of being a haven for terrorists.

Call on Pope Leo XIV to do whatever it takes to save Gaza and stop the bombing, and end the starvation. Let him go to Gaza and stand with the suffering people who are being massacred by Israel and the Western posers. He can join the March to Gaza this month.

Is there anything more important in today's world than this?

How can the world stand by and look the other way? Why is the world not retaliating against the criminal genocidal Israelis? Where is the sovereign Palestinian State? What if Canada decided to grab a few American States? Would Trump look the other way?
