I can't imagine what the Palestinian people are going through. The loss and heartache is something that is so difficult to even begin to understand. I know that people around the world have been changed in ways that can never be erased. Even people in the West have been forever changed and understand the world in a completely different way than before. Even as a long time skeptic of Western governments, my distrust of the Western governments is deeply imbedded in my soul now. I have never feared of drones in my life but I now look at the sky in a completely different way, wondering about planes and helicopters and if they are carrying weapons to destroy more innocent people somewhere in the world.
People have to realize that this is about a Real Estate deal. At the cost of many lives. There is a very good interview with George Galloway and an Irish actor who was detained by the Israel military. He was part of the flotilla heading to Gaza. He has a very good insight into what lives in the people of Israel.
