It is obvious to the most casual observer that knowing what to count is not Mr. Meeks strong suit. Perhaps he should go and get the votes he (actually, we) need(s). We are squandering $1billion per day. Gas has gone from $3.49 to $5.17 in the last month and from $5.01 to $5.17 just yesterday where I live. Trump already looks bad; however, a case can be made that the Dems are in a contest to see who looks worse. Mr. Meeks should tally what the base is saying above everything else!!! I'll take DropSite math every single time.
Ukraine went from fighting Biden’s proxy war with Russia to gradually become abandoned by Trump. In an act of self preservation, it’s now the proxy for the US/Israeli aggression against Iran. The gulf oil kingdoms, US/Israel, and Ukraine all enjoined in the illegal onslaught of Iran.
The corporate media has normalized Trump's ongoing imaginary "negotiations" with Iran to a point where a critical mass of people, and apparently - markets - genuinely believe that talks are occurring. They are not. Iran has never once publicly deviated from its firm assertion that they, Iran, will determine if and when any talks will take place.
This lie the Trump team is sowing, and the corporate media are spreading, is extremely troubling because **when** Israel and the US **do** escalate this catastrophe of their own making, it will be excused away as "Iran violated the negotiating process". This will only serve to falsely justify whatever horrific plans Trump and Netanyahu **already have in the works**.
This entire fantasy that negotiations are taking place seems like a pretext to something far worse than the current situation. It's a fabrication supported by the entire corporate media apparatus. It's providing markets with false data, cover for manipulating the population into a false sense of progress, and perhaps most critically - time - for Israel and the US to amass the resources and people necessary for whatever atrocity they are about to commit. I feel it is simply a matter of days now. The US and Israel are about to do something unthinkable, consequences be damned.
And I cannot leave this unsaid: the Democratic party establishment has the power to force a war powers resolution - right now - but refuses. Apparently Meeks truly is meek, or just in AIPAC's pocket...
See you all on the other side of whatever nightmare is about to unfold.
Dems didn't cave, they sabotaged it
invested career-perpetuation by means of sabotage under the guise of passive resistance is the Dem calling card
Actually, not really a calling card, it is more like the "Prime Directive"

Amen!
Perhaps his counting skills are better than I thought. I'm certain he has no problem counting the $2,239,471 he gets from AIPAC?

AIPAC bought both sides of the aisle.
