Gaza isn’t starving because WCK scaled back — it’s starving because Israel blocks the food, bans the NGOs, and kills the workers. WCK’s retreat just exposes the truth: famine here isn’t a tragedy. It’s a policy.

This is APPALLING. Why is our President's Board of Peace allowed to lie to the UN?

Open the border; allow the trucks to enter with aid, food, medicines, and building supplies.

This is horrifying. Thanks so much to the World Central Kitchen for what they have been

doing so far. And I agree with George Leone's comment, famine here is the Israeli policy.

Make a donation to World Central Kitchen, They have a page dedicated to Gaza on their main, world website, though they do help in other nations and in the USA. They have remained, working in Gaza throughout. Contact your Federal legislators ( Senators and House Members)to stop all money and aide to Israel until they honor the Ceasefire and allow all humanitarian aide into Gaza and the West Bank and until they leave Lebanon.

They do have such a page, but I don't see a way to make the donation specifically for Gaza, or Lebanon.

I think I scrolled down and the Page for Palestine came up. I hope that had a good response but, of course they must use donations where need is most urgent. Bless them, they help in so many places that we forget about or don't even know, including in the USA.

I found the Gaza page, but the donation box seems to be generic to the whole effort?

Also where are all the hundreds of trucks that were part of the "CEASEFIRE " in October. Israel got its hostages and didn't keep its promises as usual! Despicable.

I donate to WFC and don’t remember being asked for more to prevent genocide. But the government is clearly trying to starve people. That’s a war crime, right? Right?!?

Brutal. Israel, with the help of the U.S. are continuing their genocidal ways through starvation. Violating "peace" deals is not new for Israel - it's their m.o. because they know the rules aren't there for them in the first place. It's a sadistic rigged system and has contributed to the crumbling morality of Israeli society. What did we think would happen if we enabled this racist, apartheid state?

The reason Israel gets away with GENOCIDE is the US has a terrible greedy president surrounded by Zionist liers.

Paulette Altmaier's avatar

So did Biden, fyi. Both parties are genocidal Zionist enablers.

and on and on and on, no relief, and the world stands by.

How can we put pressure on our government to stop this "new ruling" that Israel requires for all the amazing organizations that have been helping in Gaza such as Save the Children etc? Also the World Food Kitchen, could have asked for a lot more donations instead of making a such a devastating decision of reducing their distribution by 50%. That is shocking and tragic.

There needs to be international condemnation of the Israeli government in addition to strengthening of the BDS movement.

We are all Palestinians. Our talking in circles about what can or should be done through established channels is clearly not moving the needle. Nor can it - we have no leverage operating inside of institutions which are not under our control. We need fresh and creative strategies to deliver actual results to our fellow humans in duress, our fellow Palestinians. They demand our assistance, and it is our human duty to answer that call with tangible, meaningful results.

I get emotional about these things like most people, and like many I often say things that have long been established. I reword the same sentiments to express the same outrage. None of this is productive in solving the problem. We are all we will ever have, it's time to act like it - whichever form that takes.

Where does WCK get its funding to provide all its services it provides throughout the world? Is it individual donations or government funding? Interesting that this development occurred just days after José Andrés was on the Jimmy Kimmel show. They made a potato chip omelette, poured cider into glasses from above their heads and hawked his book. They didn’t touch on the work of WCK.
