They can destroy our homes. They can destroy our schools. They can destroy our hospitals. They can destroy our source of information and food and water and medicine. But they can never, ever destroy our will to resist because that’s the only goddamn thing we can still control and we will never willingly give it up!

Thank you for this very detailed summary of the "ceasefire" process. It makes my heart sink. It reads to me like a Kafka story. Hamas enters in good faith believing something, anything, is possible to save the Palestinians, but in dealing with USrael they are "negotiating" with cruel and sadistic psychopaths whose goals were set long ago.

It seems like the only thing that can stop this barbarism is the greater world finding the courage to finally rise up against these entities and the complete cessation of weapons, bombs, intel and the conscienceless communications industry surveillance systems flooding into Israel. The courage, faith and will of the Gazan/Palestinian resistance in the face of such unspeakable terror, loss and grief restores my faith in humanity and takes my breath away.

"An initial 600,000 Palestinians would be corralled and fed before being deported to other countries." I think the Israelis need to consider that some years back, Hitler couldn't find places to take the Jewish people he wanted to deport. And, then, began the gassing and death camps.... Israel is moving ever closer to this.

In terms of the the article and the so called ongoing diplomacy. "They don’t want to end the war. They want to manage it.” Amen to that.

Most Jews wanted to migrate to North America during the rule of the Nazi regime, but they were not accepted. Even after the war, Holocaust survivors weren't allowed to go to North America. When it ended, the many Holocaust survivors were detained in concentration camps, where the conditions weren't much better' than the death camps that they had been released from. Survivors were dismissed by zionist settlers as weak and cowardly for not resisting the Nazis and succumbing to their fate. They faced terrible discrimination in the new setrler colony as well as from the rest of the world.

White imperialism has made the Palestinians pay with their lives and the loss of there land for its genocide of the Jews. Free free Palestine 🇯🇴🇯🇴🇯🇴

It’s becoming increasingly clear that both Washington and Tel Aviv are aligned in a pattern of delay—offering empty gestures instead of meaningful progress toward alleviating the deep humanitarian crisis in Gaza and the West Bank. As long as U.S. officials remain complicit or silent in the face of ongoing violence, the cycle of suffering will persist unchecked. Israel may feel confident in its current posture, but such short-term power plays risk long-term isolation. If global sentiment continues to shift—and if U.S. policy ever takes a different direction—Israel may find itself abandoned. The legacy being etched by these actions will not be forgotten, and history will ultimately pass judgment.

The two-headed cartel party has ceded control over our elections, our media, our universities, and our military stockpiles to Israel's genocidal government. I believe that they will soon cede control over ICE to that same government. ICE is essentially an occupying federal police force established by Congress to do what the Constitution forbids the legal Army to do: police citizens in their homes and communities and suppress American citizens' rights of protest in ways that finally fulfill Netanyahu's marching orders to Joe Biden to suppress student and anti-genocide protests with violence. Contrary to Israeli and Hamas propaganda, American citizens are not supporters of murder, genocide, antisemitism, apartheid, hatred of ethnic groups, concentration camps or governments that promote these things. They want the killing to stop and they want the bribery—the buyers and sellers who have hijacked their government from the people—GONE.

The US needs to quit pretending it is working to negotiate a Ceasefire agreement. The way to implement a cease fire would be to STOP sending weapons to Israel. The State Dept is sending shipment after shipment of weapons while the negotiations are taking place. There needs to be an international force to ensure that aide gets into Gaza and is distributed Fairly by UN agencies. There needs to be a no fly zone above Gaza. The IDF needs to be removed from all Palestine. The Hague Group of nations is meeting in Columbia this week. Hopefully they will take ACTION to create an armed force to force Israel out of Gaza

The US Empire wants the Palestinians gone. The empire is the main driver. Trump and Netanyahu are employees. To be tossed when no longer needed (along with Ukraine and Israel). The real imperial agenda is about controlling the oil and gas, protecting the dollar as the reserve currency, and maintaining and expanding hegemonic power over China and Russia (dream on). This is a big, dirty, complicated, doomed to fail plan. But the Empire is desperate. BRICS has scared the shit out of the US ultra-wealthy. Who are monster sociopathic parasites, that are willing to kill a billion to save their wealth, power, and privilege.

The dollar??? Protected???? Indeed.

Crypto is being enabled by both parties to replace it. Citizens with savings stashed in dollars are already the laughing stock of party operatives.

That’s what crypto people say. Laughing stock of party operatives? Party operatives are investing party funds? Donor money? Sounds like a potential collapse. Fake money?

How much does it separate the regular folks from their political system? How much does crypto encourage elites to manipulate and disguise their influence? The current level of corruption has ruined Congress and the SCOTUS.

For those who have not noticed regular folks have no real say in their political systems. The ruling class is so distrustful and disdainful of citizens that they just formed a private army better funded than the Russian army to police citizens in their homes and communities.

As with many conflict situations where the USA has a hand in resolution of conflicts and parties involved are able to identify a reasonable settlement, the USA needs to turn over its role as negotiator, ASAP. If the goal is to reduce damage, stop increasing loss of lives and begin restoration of basic survival needs and health services, provided by trusted sources, the USA seems unable to do anything to really help. Their hesitation to stop shipments of arms and funding to Israel would be the FIRSTstep in such a process, not the last resort, never mentioned as an option. When third parties ( not including the USA) negotiate a workable plan that can lead away from Genocide, toward peace and a workable outcome from both sides of the conflict, and including neighboring nations' buy-ins, then there is a roadmap to a workable solution. Israel and the USA do not wish to travel such a road.
