What could drive the election interference? Check the billionaire 'freedom city' called Prospera in Honduras in which Peter Thiel and Marc Andreesen are major backers. They are also close to Trump. Connect the dots for yourself with this relationship map and decide for yourself.

Why did Trump pardon former Honduran President? Follow the money to Próspera — the crypto billionaire controlled island in Honduras.

The article you linked was very interesting. I highly recommend readers here to read the article, study the diagram images, and definitely watch the 8 min. video included.

With Trump threatening to attack Venezuela, being chummy with the Ecuador president, getting Argentina's prez under his --and Israel's!--thumbs, and finally~ interfering in Hondura's election...you will see the game plan for Central and Latin America.

An island for billionaires has already been created next to Honduras. It is a place that is essentially lawless, and tax-free. Private corporations gathered there can and will override national sovereignty, if allowed. The big plan is to create more such billionaire enclaves throughout Latin America.

The situation in Honduras highlights how fragile democracy can be when internal corruption and external interference intersect. Allegations of systemic fraud, combined with direct U.S. influence, undermine not just the vote count but public trust in the entire electoral process. Whatever the official outcome, the real challenge will be restoring legitimacy and protecting the sovereignty of Honduran institutions.

I truly appreciate the granular reportage here and freely admit that I can’t totally follow it on a single pass! But here’s my admittedly dumb-ass takeaway: do NOT expect that the recent upticks in resistance to anti-kleptocrat political power in

special US elections will inevitably favor dems in the ‘26 midterms. “They” will be doubling down and so should “we.”

There is no other country in our hemisphere that has been more closely controlled by US interests than Honduras. The long shadow of United Fruit; the bases for the US 'Contra' proxy war on Nicaragua; the hand-in-glove relationship with a narco-cracy that assassinated both environmental activists and locals defending their lands and communities.

Don't forget what Obama, mainly Hillary Clinton did to Honduras in 2009, removing a good man from the presidency. Someone should write a book on the harm the Clintons have caused in the world since the early 90s.

Anyone who's read William Blum's brilliant book "Killing Hope" will have a difficult time not seeing the hand of Trump's US behind the electoral turmoil in Honduras. It's as if we're living in a very unfunny cartoon at this point - everything seems so obvious.

Thank you for recommending William Blum's book, "Killing Hope". I am going to request it--the 2022 edition--at the public library.

Author Blum also has another book that looks very interesting: "Rogue State: A Guide to the World's Only Superpower".

How dare Trump undermine free and fair elections in Honduras! to favor Asfura.

Trump pardoned Hernandez who was sentenced to 45 years in prison on drug trafficking charges in Honduras. This is despite Trumps' performative and illegal hammering of Venezuela's alleged drug traffickers.

I say Yanqui go home.

I grieve as well for those beautiful people. One correction: America-CIA-Mossad. In all of Central and South America. Hand-in-glove for a very long time.
