Regading Thomas Massie's bill to cut off $3.3 billion in aid to Israel, "Democratic members of the House 'expressed alarm' in a closed meeting and were 'begging for leadership guidance' on how to vote as the Democratic base sours on the U.S.-Israel relationship."

The bill is unlikely to pass, but it will shine the light on shameful members of Congress if there is a floor vote documenting each and every House member's vote.

That floor vote should be shared widely by Drop SIte -- and all other media -- so all of us know which Congress members we should never vote for again. It's time to close the pipeline of tax dollars funding Israel's war crimes.

House Dems sweating over a vote to strike 3.3 billion dollars to Israel from the State Department budget is a thing of beauty. Outing AIPAC aligned Democrats is a gift from Thomas Massie preceding his exit from the House next year. I hope Drop Site posts the list of members continuing to align with the Zionist genocide. Call it what it is. Blood money.

How many immigrants could be deported by Roberts Supreme Court’s TPS decision? We did the math.

Many of those are the people who care for the elderly and disabled people. There is a shortage of staff in nursing homes - that are closing not only because of that but also because they will not cut on their profits to care for people, and disabled people who used to have a daily companion, or a group home staff are also left without the means to participate in activities, therefore being ignored and not really seen as part of a community. This is wrong and dangerous for many reasons, one of them is abuse. When people are seen in the community, that community gets used to them and some start paying attention on how they are treated and cared for. It is a form of protection. But the fascism is expanding to get rid of the "useless eaters" too

You're right. I'm planning to do a map with nursing maps to show the areas that might be most affected. It is truly sad.

All that news of the day, all those Supreme Court rulings to discuss--except one. It's as if the Bayer win from SCOTUS, the immunity from causing cancer with their products, did not happen. Is it some weird aversion to investigating anything MAHA-related? I honestly can't figure out the calculus for skipping the stories which affect our own and our children's lives the most directly, using metrics of what are the biggest contributors to our chronic disease epidemic and top causes of death for the U.S. population. Is it a psychological block because it IS too close to home?
