What stands out is the double standard: covert operations are acceptable when Israel or the U.S. run them, but shocking when Iran does something far smaller in return. Intelligence wars rarely stay one-directional.

xACTly, the double standardry’s infuriating, to say the least, re. covert operations and everything else, such as war crimes, violations of int’l law, of int’l humanitarian law [israel’s recent use of airburst white phosphorous over residential areas in lebanon, for instance], you name them: when WE commit such heinous acts, it’s fine, justified for the purposes of self-defense. when THEY commit them, they deserve nothing less than our disdain and ultimately, death.

What a tangled web we weeve when we practice to decieve..Very good report on the intelligence

OPS of Iran..I thought we only had Mossad and CIA working..Speaking of intelligence I wish Trump

would act as if he had some.

This is reinforcement of Zionist psranoia. Not going to forward it around my circles.

The monarchists, the theocrats, the Greater Israel fanatics, and all the other reactionaries belong in the dustbin of history.

Victory to the workers and peoples of Iran, Palestine, and the whole of southwest Asia and the world!

Iran's covert operations within Israel seem quite pedestrian compared with Israel's covert operations **everywhere**. Just an observation from across the sea.

It increasingly seems that it is entirely Israel's war and U.S. should not have been drawn into it. And should get out of it as soon as possible, otherwise the next thing Trump proposes will be a draft, which should be absolutely opposed. Already there have been American deaths. No more, please no more.

As an American who is against this war, this article is a good reminder to be careful about what groups we participate in. We should not trust the Iranian government, just as Iranians SHOULD NOT trust the CIA. Ultimately, the only people who pay the cost will be the regular people, both in the US and in Iran. I don't want to be used by the Iranian government any more than I want to be used by the US government. Enough is enough!

Sorry Jeremy and Murtaza... I'm left with the feeling that some normally excellent reporters got played. This reportage seems intended to discredit Israeli opposition as Iranian spook work when its real provenance is well known.

If you cannot defend your actions..you resort to just calling others bad names..

The fact that Iran has been under an embargo for the past 45 years, attacked since their revolution, and employing tactics akin to those of Mossad and the CIA, speaks volumes. It’s remarkable that the Iranians even believe they can succeed, and that says a lot.
