I don't think there has been a "meeting of the minds". I think Trump realizes that the rescue mission was an exorbitantly expensive, but lucky, operation. He didn't imagine losing a half-dozen aircraft and the losses have not been completely reported. He thinks by calling a truce, amnesia will set in about what he he hasn't achieved.
Iran intends to continue enrichment, Trump just posted there will be no enrichment. I predict that Israel will claim the Strait is not "fully" open and will continue to strike Iran as well as the brutal invasion and Ethic Cleansing of Lebanon.

My concern is that once again, Trump played into Israel's agenda by announcing a war with Iran, WHILE Israel slaughters the people of Lebanon. That is where Gaza part 2 is happening, all behind Trump's smoke screen of a war with Iran during which Israel bombs one of the poorest countries in the world. STOP killing people in Lebanon in secret. Stop killing people in Iran. It is a real war, with real people, and not just a slight of hand. It shouldn't surprise me but Bibi and Trump are cowards.
