By the way, Mr Medley, I forgot to mention that if you think Harris and Trump are identically horrible, then you can save yourself time and trouble, (and tilting at windmills), and just not vote. If one is precisely like the other, what do you care which one wins? You lose identically either way. And by the time whichever of them loses says "oh, no, Jill Stein got X number of votes, and I lost; maybe I should have taken a different approach," it will be too late. You won't have taught them a lesson from which they could learn anything (setting aside they won't know why you voted for Jill Stein). Everyone understands that people vote for someone like Stein because they don't like the other choices. That's by definition. But it doesn't do anything to the process, or to the one who wins, or the one who loses. It's a secret ballot. No one will know Jeffrey S Medley voted for Stein, and no one is going to call you and ask you why you didn't choose Trump or Harris. If Harris wins, she'll have a big party. If she loses, she'll take the loss. If Trump wins, he'll have a party with his mirror. If he loses, he's promised us a bloodbath. No one is going to care about you and your protest statement. No one is going to care that Jeffrey S Medley was dissatisfied with both, and they both ought to learn a lesson from Jeffrey S Medley.

Fine. They're both horrible. But you (and the rest of us) are going to get one of them. Your vote influences which of these horrible people we get. We're not going to get Jill Stein or anyone whose name you write in. This country will have a president, as it always does, and that president will either be Harris or Trump. Pick.
