The event you’re citing is a reason to hate Isn’treal. Jews were living in Arab countries just fine until Zionists started funding terror attacks across those countries lol.

The Arabs drove the Mizrachim out of their homes in Muslim countries because the Arabs were ashamed that Arab armies had failed to eliminate the Zionists and prevent the emergence of a modern Jewish state in the Jews' ancestral homeland.

Your understanding of this conflict and that time period in particular are vastly oversimplified. You really think the same group of terrorists: The Irgun, Lehi, Haganah, and Palmach who bombed plenty of British and Arab civilians would not fund other violent acts to encourage more Jewish immigration from Arab lands?

It seems to me that the proof that the Zionists did not drive Arabs out of the area that became the State of Israel is the following: Twenty percent of Israelis are Arabs who have full civil rights. Compare with population changes across The Middle East and North Africa.

Unveiling the Truth: The Astonishing Shift in Middle Eastern Demographics from 1948 to 2024

Announcement

As discussions of "ethnic cleansing" continue to echo across discussions about Israel, I believe it's crucial to illuminate these conversations with precise data and historical context. To truly understand the scope of demographic changes in this region, we must examine the evidence closely:

In-Depth Analysis of Demographic Shifts

Jewish Population Decline in Arab Countries (1948-2024):

Country % Decrease from 1948-2024

Algeria 99.93%

Bahrain 94.00%

Egypt 99.99%

Iraq 99.99%

Jordan 100.00%

Kuwait 100.00%

Lebanon 99.50%

Libya 100.00%

Morocco 99.20%

Syria 99.97%

Tunisia 99.05%

Yemen 99.91%

The figures above starkly highlight the dramatic reduction in Jewish populations across various Arab nations, with an average decline of 99.8% since 1948. This decline was influenced by a complex blend of war, political instability, and policies enacted post-Israel’s establishment, which collectively spurred a significant Jewish exodus.

Contrasting Growth in Israel’s Arab Population:

Conversely, Israel's Arab population has burgeoned, rising from 156,000 in 1948 to an estimated 2,178,000 in 2024—a 1,296.15% increase. This growth occurs within Israel's diverse societal fabric, illustrating a narrative of coexistence and community enhancement, rather than displacement or exclusion.

This data demands a nuanced examination, rather than reductionist labels that may mislead or inflame. The term "ethnic cleansing" is a powerful and polarizing phrase that, when misapplied, can distort our understanding of the complex realities of Middle Eastern ethnic dynamics.

I'm sharing these insights because I believe in the power of truth to foster genuine dialogue and reconciliation. Misinformation not only entrenches division but also obscures the paths to peace and mutual respect.

I encourage you to look beyond the headlines, question the simplified narratives, and engage with detailed, well-sourced information. Understanding the past and present of Middle Eastern demographics is not just about correcting misconceptions but about paving the way for informed discussions that can lead to a peaceful future.

Do you really believe that Jews rule the world? Do you think the amount of money the Irgun might have had as its disposal compared in any substantial way with the amounts Qatar and Saudi Arabia have used to get American universities to spread lies about Jews and Israel? I had neighbors who were forced out of Egypt. I also know of Holocaust survivors who got to Israel and then came to the States because of food shortages in Israel as Israel struggled to rehabilitate so many refugees while still being under Arab attack. Conversely. despite large land holdings and oil riches, the Arabs put their people who'd fled or been displaced by Arab-initiated violence on the world's dole. There are 6,000,000 Palestine "refugees" on UNRWA's rolls (99.5% of them born into refugee status) and they consume monies that could be used to help current refugees.

Bro you are the liar. I never once said Jews rule the world in fact I love the fact that some of the most outspoken critics against the Zio regime are Jewish. Btw Israel donates enormous amounts of cash to American politics through AIPAC and I’m sure they do it to other western countries as well. If anyone is giving credence to the antisemitic trope (that I disagree with) that Jews run the world it is Israel. You don’t get to donate hundreds of millions to trumps campaign slush fund then claim Israel doesn’t hold any sway over America’s foreign policy lol.

The strong tie between Israel and the Us doesn't come from money that Israel (or Jews) gives to the US. The tie comes from shared experience (the Islamists want to destroy both the US and Israel) and from joint work in protecting both Israeli and American interests. I don't remember who said it, but I know that someone remarked that Israel's presence in the Middle East means that America doesn't have to keep ships on guard in the Mediterranean.
