There were those who did, among them for certain the Arabs, but they were all stifled, ignored, or marginalized under the haughtiness of the Western imperium, craftily exploited by the Zionists, with their odious propaganda campaign. I can remember from my childhood the hearing about "plant a tree for Israel," not realizing until decades later the truth behind that fraud.
