Israeli soldiers went door to door in the border village of Ain Arab, forcing residents from their homes at gunpoint as part of a systematic campaign to empty large swathes of southern Lebanon.
Does Israel benefit by keeping the Iran and Lebanon conflicts going? It seems to have taken the world's attention off their mopping up the GENOCIDE in GAZA and the land theft in the West Bank.
It could couldn’t it, we can’t watch everything at once. However they must be overstretched and how long can they keep Reservists in the field? They’ve raised the minimum time to 9 weeks (from 6) this month, and ground forces have been relying on public donations for equipment and supplies of various sorts since Oct 2023, it must be much more now, units make appeals direct to the public via social media, I saw one yesterday, even if the IDF says they supply everything. I just don’t know how long they can keep all this going, West Bank, Gaza, Lebanon, Iran. I guess as long as they keep the hatred stoked among Israelis and expat Israelis??
I've completely lost any belief I might have had that the international community cares about human rights and the rule of law. I guess we now live in a world where any country with sufficient military power is free to invade another country and murder its citizens.
I prefer to blame international politicians as they're in charge. For some reason they choose to do nothing. I suspect the majority of the international community is heartly sick of what Israel is doing...
What happened in Ain Arab isn’t “collateral damage,” it’s the textbook definition of forced transfer. Israel didn’t just bomb people out of their homes—soldiers went door to door and told families, “leave now or die.” That is ethnic cleansing in plain language. And the U.S. continues to underwrite it while pretending to broker “de‑escalation.” The pattern is the same from Gaza to southern Lebanon: redraw the map through terror, then call it security. No amount of diplomatic theater can hide what’s being done to these villages.
How is Israel's treatment of its Arab-Palestinian neighbors any different Nazi Germany's treatment of those it disdained as "untermensch" during the 1930s ? (And we all know what that led to in the 1940s.). Dr. Richard France
Is the official Lebanese government just a construct of Israel and the US? Why else would they fail to even attempt to come to the aid of its people while negotiating for the disarmament of Hezbolla? Where is world leadership in apposing more war crimes in the making ? At the Israeli day parade in New York along with Schumer and governor Hochul?
This is the same playbook used in 1948. Read “Loot: How Israel Stole Palestinian Land” by Adam Raz. The army protects independent contractors who raze entire villages using bulldozers and backhoes.
Israel continues to rampage through whatever country it chooses, killing and maiming, in it's neverending pursuit of "security". When are the politicians of the world going to wake up to the fact that for Israel nothing will ever be enough?
We - the world - must not accept this reality as normal. We must not ignore it because it is painful. We must never justify it because we find it more convenient to agree with narrative dominance than inconvenient facts.
We must embrace what is happening to fellow human beings and never find comfort in "better them than me". Tell their stories, feel their pain, and do the things only we can do from within the protected world. Humanity knows no borders, and our hearts should not be deceived into believing the fallacy of otherness.
Israelis understand only force. When will the world force death to the Israeli regime..and to the US regime, both totally criminal. If you don't hate these two countries, you haven't been paying attention.
the never ending evil that is zionism. their demise cannot come a moment too soon.

Repeating myself, I can’t hate Israel enough.

I’m sick of this. 2 years 8 months on and it’s just getting worse
Imagine if you had this happen to you, this evening, say. Just get out of your home NOW and expect to find it basically levelled.
Everything you own and cherish will be lost........ and your chances of finding another home are slim at best.

What is happening in Lebanon is unspeakable. I'm too disheartened to say more.

...at least, Iran is winning the war. Good.
My heart goes out to the people of Lebanon and Gaza.
