Seriously, I don't know what's worse, the real-time Cabinet "Amateur hour" or the fact that Israel is in every single nook and cranny of America. And is Israel the ideal place to archive anything?

A bit of comic relief is embedded in Leavit's statement. Had she learned her grammar in elementary school, she'd know that the adverb "obviously," in her sentence modifies the wrong verb. She says here not that it's obvious that steps will be taken, but that obvious steps WON'T be taken. This implies that opaque steps will be taken, i.e., business as usual.

“There have been steps made to ensure that something like that can <obviously> never happen again... ”

HA HA HA! I don't know how carefully these words were chosen, but to me it reads that steps are being made to ensure that this can never happen again in a way that is OBVIOUS. In other words, we're going to be more careful in covering our tracks to hide our activities from the public view.

Does anyone remember back when "open government" was a thing?

"There are some questions that mankind were never meant to ask- such as, what WE are doing."

Good to have the additional info about the officers of the company. Shouldn't you be crediting 404 media for originally spotting the use of TM SGNL? https://www.404media.co/mike-waltz-accidentally-reveals-obscure-app-the-government-is-using-to-archive-signal-messages/
