Let's not forget that Paksitani Generals and the current govt in Power are crooks and Corrupt to the hilt. They have murdered journalists, innocent protestors and soo much more. Including benefiting themselves monetarily at the expense of 200 million Pakistani people. UK govt should just state this is not an option. As a country that values democracy and rule of law. Otherwise there is no difference between them and Corrupt authoritarianism that currently run Pakistan.
Hey Stamer and Co if you honestly consider this deal as a left leaning govt. You have betrayed your vales and your morals. And no one in the future will ever seriously consider to vote for labour again. Literally. No one.
Let's also not forget UK houses convicted criminal Narwaz Sharif for years during his fake illness. To escape jail time. while he lived in the most exclusive area of London.
So what the Corrupt Army Generals have to hear words they don't like from: Adil Raja and Shehzad Akbar. Guess what it's called a freedom of speech and expression. If they don't like what they are saying they should sue them for defamation. There is a very clear pathway for them to use already established in UK law. Clearly they don't either because they know the claims are true or because it will just further publically expose the lies, deciet and corruption of the Pakistani Generals in a UK court. Who many have correctly believe have destroyed Pakistan for their own economical gain. While the average person in Pakistan struggles for one square meal a day. And close to 100 million people are illiterate. They say counteries have an Army. To the great tradegy for Paksitani people around the world, Pakistani Army Generals have a country that they loot, pollute, use and abuse for personal gains. Meanwhile the innocent people of Pakistan suffer like never before. The 5th largest nation in the world. Travesty of the highest order.
Dangerous times to be a dissident. Looks like Raja and Akbar as critics of the Pakistani military regime are not safe in the UK. Time to seek asylum elsewhere.
This story exposes the danger of letting immigration politics override basic democratic principles. Extradition should never be used as currency in a political swap—especially when the requesting state has a long record of persecuting critics. The UK can’t claim to defend free expression while entertaining deals that would hand dissidents over to a military establishment that openly threatens them. Deporting convicted offenders and protecting political refugees are two separate legal and moral obligations, and blurring that line for a short-term “win” would set a very dark precedent.
Deporting people from one nation to another or elsewhere, because they hold unpopular political beliefs in one nation, but are not accused of other criminal or legal activity should NOT happen. The trade of accused sex traffickers is tempting to many but putting those excercising free speech and alternative political opinion in that mix is a slippery slope to oppression. In nations where political rivals are disappeared or jailed, to stop political opposition, makes exchanges like this a threat to democracy not a savior of children.
Wow.. the lengths Pakistan is willing to go to crush dissent even from overseas! UK has shown it is unethical and immoral regarding its foreign policy in other lands, but if takes the step of handing those residing in it back to draconian regimes like that of Pakistan, that will set a new low and a dangerous precedent for the western world.
The real problem is the light sentences handed out to these violent gang members. One of them got a two-year sentence, another 5 years, another 7 years. With remission, they'll be out on the streets again within a year, three years, and 4 years respectively. They won't be able to get work because they're on the sex offenders list forever. So what are they going to do? More violent crime, of course.
Life sentences in solitary confinement would have solved all problems. It's not a cheap solution, but it's a just solution.

UK does not deserve tourism with their attacks on Palestine action. Who knows if today’s UK would stoop so low as to hand over dissidents to Pakistan.
There is no limit on how low Naqvi and his handlers can go

The US should offer rent a cell and waterboarding to the UK at Gitmo. Make it a profit center.
Maybe some guards could dress like London Bobbys to make the outcasts feel at home.
