According to the Order signed by Judge Lawson, Barofsky is "free from any apparent conflict of interest." Barofsky's conflict of interest has now become apparent--something that the Judge should be forced to revisit by motion. Furthermore, Lawson's Order indicates that the President of Local 551 in Chicago, Scott Houdieson, had previously filed a motion to intervene in the appointment of Barofsky that was originally denied, then allowed, then later withdrawn. What was that about?
