Funny how **only** Drop Site News Substack newsletters have been arriving truncated/ missing text in my inbox for at least six months now - forcing me to login to Substack directly if I want to read the full piece and comment. It's a small annoyance but something appears to be corrupting the newsletter file in transit.
All this says to me is Drop Site News continues to be a force for the ruling elite to reckon with and therefore a target for cyber fuckery.

Only in the US could the appointed acting director of DHS be a former CEO of a private prison company while the head of customs and border security also being a former employee of that same enterprise. More important than ever that the search for justice continues! The work that the Hind Rajab Foundation is doing to track down and bring Israeli criminals to justice is one that is vital in the effort to hold Israel accountable. Let us hope they will also turn their sights on the criminal leaders of the countries of the west who are co-perpetrators of these crimes.
Call on Pope Leo XIV to do whatever it takes to save Gaza and stop the bombing, and end the starvation. Let him go to Gaza and stand with the suffering people who are being massacred by Israel and the Western posers. He can go to Gaza right now, and insist aid be allowed in. Then on to the West Bank to end the occupation and apartheid.

"Taiwanese President Lai Ching-te, however, called the island a 'sovereign, independent nation.'” It would be good to clarify, when reporting on this issue, if you would use the actual name, which is the Republic of China that is situated on the island of Formosa, and was a province of China called 'Taiwan.'
By not doing so obfuscates way too much. I don't think President Lai has changed the name yet. Without that happening, one might wonder whether it continues to hold the same long-term goal of governing all of China, however fanciful that might be in reality.
