Well, so much for the peace president, eh? People need to know what they're really voting for.

Proper law enforcement might suggest that the boat be interdicted, the suspects captured and questioned, and contraband seized, so that a crime can be established. But if you just blow a vessel out of the water… well, dead men tell not tales. And a lying SOS, like Hegseth, can make any claim he likes.

Mr. President, Memphis is the #1 US city for crime, but you have never mentioned Memphis which is in Tennessee, a red state, for troop deployment. I think this exposes the real reasons for your action. You want to show blue states who is boss, not that it will help with crime. It demonstrates to your satisfaction that you hold the power (the "you're hired/fired" kind of thing), that you can't be stopped in blue parts of the country and that military power is yours alone to use, regardless of what the law says.

Before I let you go, I know you are concerned about spending (troop deployments and military parades excepted) so here's a tip prompted by the hit on the Venezuelan boat...end the pointless War on Drugs. Making anything illegal instantly creates a very lucrative black market that will attract gangsters (you know about them) like flies to a picnic.

Thanks for reading. Now you can get back to sending lots of money and weapons to Israel to help with the genocide.
