Thanks for this detailed report, and for always covering the Iranian view, something our corporate media never does.

The Iranians clearly seem to be the sane and anti-war party in this conflict. Trouble is, we are dealing with a narcissist in Trump who hates "losing," and who seems to be a puppet for a war-mongering Netanyahu.

May sanity prevail and may God stop more death and destruction by our nation and Israel.

This is all so unnecessary and horrific. This situation **never needed to happen**. This is a war of vanity, a war of ego, a war of profane stupidity.

"FDD" is an organization that we Americans can safely marry to the likes of AIPAC:

"The White House lifted language whole cloth from the FDD in crafting its justification for the Iran war and Trump’s team publishes dubious charts created by FDD about Iranian nuclear enrichment. Nick Stewart, managing director of advocacy at FDD’s lobbying arm, was recently added to the Iran negotiating team headed by Special Envoy Steve Witkoff and Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner."

Looking forward to the next time Trita Parsi is on Drop Site Live.

Thanks again to everyone at Drop Site News.

Drop Site reporting is always superb. Solar and wind based energy had already become competitive before Trump's stupid war. China is patiently waiting in the wings with a near monopoly on the energy of the future while Trump destroys any residual competition from oil as it exits the energy market.

DropSite and Dr. Parsi offer the most insightful accounting of the Middle East, and especially Iran in this moment. One continues to be impressed with the clearly articulate, tactical, strategic communication Iran presents in stark contrast with the bloviating word salad exploding from the mouth of most powerful man on the planet and his imbecilic sycophants.

Essential reporting, thank you!

What this reporting shows is a White House improvising its way through a crisis it created. Iran is running a coherent two‑track strategy while the U.S. keeps shifting demands and mistaking its own confusion for leverage. The blockade hasn’t broken Iran — it’s destabilized global markets and cornered the administration. That’s not strength. It’s drift dressed up as resolve.

Own up, America ! A deranged and increasingly demented Donald Trump made no secret that a return to the White House would be his "retribution tour" -- and in your stratospheric stupidity youSTILL voted for him. NOW SUFFER THE INCREASINGLY RUINOUS CONSEQUENCES !!!

Trump does not know how to negotiate. Like a spoiled child, he has, throughout his life, made demands escalating into threats. Largely through inherited wealth, and now theft enabled by his position as president, he has been surrounded and protected by toadies willing to do his bidding. Thus, he is ill-prepared to deal with a skilled and confident adversary — or even to realistically assess its strength.

Thanks for a least trying to make sense of a Three Body Problem. *any sol'n would be temporary.

But I have a sol'n dear readers. Get rid of one of the Bodies and make it a resolvable 2 body problem. I would vote to get of the Israel Body. It's the tiniest and least in significance.

Psychological projection is a defense mechanism where individuals unconsciously attribute their own unwanted emotions, thoughts, or impulses onto someone else to avoid confronting them internally. Originally introduced by Sigmund Freud, this behavior helps people manage anxiety and guilt, but it often distorts reality and harms relationships by mis-attributing motives.

The historic Danish Sound Dues (1429–1857) were tolls levied on ships passing through the Øresund strait between Denmark and Sweden, contributing up to two-thirds of Denmark's income in the 16th/17th centuries. Enforced by Kronborg Castle cannons, the tolls were abolished in 1857 under international pressure, replacing them with a one-time compensation payment.
