Reporting like this makes it impossible to hide behind euphemisms like “precision” or “counterterrorism.” When airstrikes kill infants, wipe out families, and leave entire towns emptied of civilians, something is profoundly wrong—regardless of who the intended target was. AFRICOM’s silence only deepens the sense that Somali lives are treated as disposable. Accountability, transparency, and an end to collective punishment should be the bare minimum, not an afterthought.

Tribal community is the glue but the glue needs a hold fast to stick to for growth to happen. Somewhere down the path these different tribes need to stick to each other for the common good. External states should champion gluing these differences together not picking a side arming it to kill the other sides.

Happy Holidays comrades

I don't know who in a balanced state of mind would ever conceive of Donald Trump being nominated for any sort of "peace prize". This dopey playacting gangster deserves a "pieces" prize - for the pieces of human bodies he is responsible in butchering. Fellow recipients will include Israel, Qatar, Russia, Saudi Arabia, UAE, UK, and many actors within the US. All of which are guilty in preparing a mass grave for the rest of us to fill in due time.
